Hi, doing heavy weightlifting in the gym especially against the gravity when you are in standing position affect the longitudinal growth of your bones. In my opinion weightlifting while you are on a bench would not produce this effect. For better consultation you may approach your gym instructor. All the best
13 years ; It's not the time to approach gym.Go after 18 or 20.Any misconduct in exercise lead to injury.And you can't even copy the adult doing workouts because they are not designed for teenagers.Simple stretching and cardio would be ok.
