Yes it would be great to find out what your current eating habbits are. In the meantime I would aim to drink approximately 3 Litres of water daily, get adequite rest, eat breakfast always, eat 3-7 small meals depending on your size, activity level, and metabolism. Avoid excess sodium and eat adequite potassium. Avoid large amounts of fats ie. fast food, peanut butter, prcessed foods like cheese etc. Try eating more whole grains and more fibre as they keep you fuller for longer. If you are an emotional eater then try and adress the emotions and behaviours assosiated.
Ok, can you first tell me a few things first. I need to know how much you weigh, what is your height, what is your daily routine, and what is a typical day of eating for you? Do you walk at all, have pets, etc.
