Chalazion

I have had a chalazion for more than a week now it has started to harden up, i have tried hot compresses, antibiotic and ointment, apple cider vinegar but they have stopped making any change in the chalazion
Please help me what should i do
I am so worried
Should i just leave it by its own?
Is it a good sign that its hardening?
Should the chalazion be soft or hard?

A chalazion  doe not clear up quickly. In fact we usually wait 4-6 weeks before considering surgery to remove it. A week is "just beginning".  Stop the apple cider vinegar, where did that idea come from? I'm sure not your doctor.  Chalazia are generally hard and non-tender.  If it gets red, tender, painful to touch see an ophthalmologist. Clean your lids (both eyes) with a cleaner like Ocusoft Platinum Plus lid cleaner. (non prescription)
