Keratoconus

i have just been told that i have keratoconus mainly in my right eye, it causes me to have blurred & double vision.the problem first started about 3 years ago' when i had a strange attack of something. I was very ill for over three weeks, my symptom ranged from,no balance, violently sick, vertigo, loss of memory,Altered perception, reversed sensation tingling, double vision & i also lost nearly two stone. the whole attack lasted three weeks.it has taken the medical world where i live three years to find out that i have Keratoconus!!! i know beyond any shadow of doubt that what ever made me ill has cause my Keratoconus.
i have been tested for MS, had the brain MRI. Did not show anything' did not test my spinnal fluid though!!
could i have had some sort of stroke? tangent strokes do run in my family.my doctor said she thought it was laberithitis, i think this is rubbish.

You are certainly welcome to your own theories even if they do not agree with what we know about K-conus.

K conus is a disease of the cornea. It will not cause systemic symptoms like stroke, or heart trouble. Treatment is glasses then contacts then surgery or possible riboflavin crosslinking of the cornea.
