Can't see clearly near or far

I wear glasses.  My question is that I started losing my near vision around age 40.  Now my far vision is going as well.  I am blurry both near and far.  Does anyone else have this or is it just one way or the other (can see far but not near, or can see near but not far)?

Dr O, so it's common around my age to become blurry both near and far?   Someone told me a person cannot be near and farsighted I am blurry both near(computer) and far ( distant tree's, street signs etc)

Reading glasses help both near and far at the moment but as soon as my +1.75 come off near and far vision is very blurry.  I saw an eye doc who explained somethng that went over my head.  Pretty uneventful exam with healthy eyes.

Thank you for yoru time.

You are probably farsighted and this is normal as you age.
