Could my optic nerve be damaged?

January 2017 I went to the eye dr to get glasses and he stated that my eye pressure was high in both eyes and that I would developed glaucoma in the future...I paid extra money for imaging of my optic nerve and he said everything looked perfect now it’s August 2018 and I’m not worried I’ve developed glaucoma because I can barely see out my glasses I got before and I strain to see things now...I’m a healthy young male 25 and no one in my family has glaucoma, could I have developed glaucoma in this short amount of time???

Blurred vision is not a early or medium symptom of glaucoma. It occurs only very late in the stage of the disease.  Nor can the doctor say you FOR SURE will develop glaucoma especially at your young age and no family history.   Glaucoma occurs in the general population only 2% of people that live a normal life expectancy.   I suspect you did not see an Eye MD ophthalmologist but rather a non-MD non-physician optometrist (they have OD after their name not MD).  Recommend you go in to see Eye MD for medical eye exam. Most likely you are myopic and have gotten more myopic since 1/17
