Dry eye problem?

I wear contact lens that causes me a dry eye. I work in an air conditioned office and notice that after one hour in the room my eyes turns red. It looks tired and watery. I don't feel any pain in my eye. I went out the office to buy rewetting drop. I notice my eyes normalizes as I leave the air conditioned room. Because of this problem I stop using contact lens, but since then, everytime I go to air conditioned room, my eyes turns pinkish or red. Any treatment available for me? Is this dry eye problem even I do not use contacts anymore?

And ever since I use contact lens, I do not have clean looking white part of the eyes. The white area of my eyes has something like red lines. Looks like small red veins. Any treatment for this?
