Ptosis help

Hello :-) It has been one year since my ptosis surgery and my eye is now dropping again. My doctor told me that there is nothing else he can do for me. What should I do? I believe the surgery was only to raise the eyelid; are there other forms of surgery or treatments?
Thank you for you time.

I do not know what technique your doctor used to repair your ptosis but there is usually
a way to enhance the results. Rarely I have had a patient whose muscle is almost completely fatty which just does not raise the lid very well or has areas where the muscle is essentially missing and these are not good candidates for regular reop.
Reops take alot more time because scar formation has occurred and the tissue dissection must be done very slowly and carefully to locate all the proper anatomy. I would see (another) oculoplastic surgeon for another opinion.
