Epiretinal membrane removal

Hello, my mom had epiretinal membrane removal surgery and cataract surgery altogether 12 days ago. Her eyelid is still swollen and red. She feels itchy, prickly and there are a lot of tears from the eye. Her vision has not improved much. it is very blurry, much blurry than before and she is so scared. Her vision before the operation was about 55% on that eye, now is like 35%. Will her vision improve?

This is not the kind of question we can answer. Only her surgeon who can look into the eye can.  So please direct to surgeon. We won't 'guess' on answers or speculate

My question is it normal after these kinds of  surgeries to have blurriness for few days/weeks

This is a generalization. Yes.  Probably will be 6-12 weeks to have a reasonable idea of healing.
