Hello Dr,
2 months back I suffered a blunt trauma to my left eye. I was having pain with no vision change, was diagnosed with traumatic iritis(mild) by an eye Dr and treated with steroid eye drops that resolved over a week. About 2 weeks back, in the same eye I suffered a minor trauma to the same eye ( my son accidentaly poked me in the eye), I did not have much problems, and did not get evaluated. Over last two days, I have mild discomfort in left eye(no symptoms for nearly 8 days after the minor trauma), see some additional floaters than usual. But no flashing lights. Am I at danger for retinal detachement. Initally when I was evaluated, I was informed my retina was completely fine. At that time injury was a passive blow while I was walking, my face collided with a blunt rod and hit my closed globe.
What symptoms will I have to look out for retinal detachment?
Thanks
