Mole in the eye

For the past 2 months I have a small cyst like formation on my eye-lid.

I showed it to doctor, he recommended an ointment to be rubbed over the cyst for a weeks time and see if it goes.

despite regular application it didn't go(though it softend a bit). Fixing up of date for surgery couldnot be managed thereafter. meanwhile, the thing got ruptured with a little blood coming out.

There is still some hard ball type tissue (swelling) on my eye lid.

pls. suggest if we can still manage the treatment with out a surgery?

Thanks

Sanjiv

It sound like a stye (horeolum).  Also use warm compress 4 times per day.  It can be easily removed surgically in the office by an ophthalmologist if it does not resolve with warm compress.

You may have a chronic infection of the eyelids (blepharitis) if this is a recurrent problem.
