Eye Injury- Corneal Abrasion

Hi,
I got a corneal abrasion with my fingernail last friday, i.e. 1/11/2013, I was given Ocupol ointment (twice a day), Moxicip (4 to 6 times a day) and Refresh Liquigel (6 times a day)

Went to the eye doc again yesterday and he said that my cornea has healed, and asked me to only put Refresh Liquigel,

However, when I got up today morning I felt pain in the eye and also this foreign body sensation which still persists. but then yesterday I felt absolutely fine, any chance for its recurrence? Also, by when can I start applying eye makeup?

I would wait to use make up until you are free of symptoms for a few days.  The pain on awakening means the the corneal epithelium is still loose and not completely healed.  Use ointment at bedtime until this resolves.  You may develop recurrent erosion syndrome  if this happen after a few months
