Glasses can exaggerate or in some cases even causes eyes to appear not in line especially as in your case when they are not level. However our faces are not symmetrical this is well known and people speak of their "good side' for photos. One eye being higher or lower than the other is called hyper (high) or hypo (low) telorism. It can be causes by trauma, bone problems such as paget's disease, thyroid disease, orbital problems but especially when its been present for many years without other symptoms developing it can be a variant of normal. There is now way to fix this if its a bony facial asymmetry.
