Flashing light in the Blindspot

Hi,
I am a 25 year old female and recently I have been having some issues with my eye. I get light flashes in my blind spot of the right eye. This has never happened before and it feels like someone just turned a light on all of a sudden or a sudden burst of light went in my blindspot. I wear glasses and my eyesight is much weaker in the right eye then the left one. Is this something serious?

It could be. FIrst use the archives and search feature to read about TIAs or transient ischemic attacks, then read about eye or ophthalmic migraine. At your age it most likely is eye migraine which don't have headaches with them but it could be disease of the eye, brain, heart or blood vessels. It is especially important if you smoke, have high blood pressure are on birth control pills are pregnant or have a family history of heart disease/attacks or strokes.
