Flat Retine Re-Detachment

Hi there i had a Vitrectomy with partial Redetachment filled with SF6 left eye (With Doctor A)

Five weeks after the surgergy, I went to another cosultation doctor for 2nd opinion and he said i have small redetachment but it still protected by the laser. so his advice that i should go back to doctor A for pneumatic retinopaxy in case the laser sticthes colapse.

I then went to back to Doctor A, However he was on leave for 1 month. So his collauge diagnose me and he said
there is no detachment whatsoever and everything seems normal.

Confused, i asked for 3rd opinion ( Doctor C). He said, there is a retina detachment but the detach retina is flat and secure between the end of retina and the laser stiches. He said as long as i don't experience head trauma i will be fine.

what should i do here? any suggestion for my predicament?

Remember the old saying you can consult 3 different doctors and get 5 different opinions.  None of the three have suggested any immediate intervention. If you have confidence in Doctor A I would see him when back and relay what you've been told.  Remember you are at high risk for RD in your other eye so be sure its checked and have it looked at often.

Thank you doc!

Fortunately my right eye is healthy and no macular hole! ( my left eye detached due to blunt trauma ). But for sure i'll ask him to check my healthy eye often!

However, Since i suffered from flat retina detachment. Is it true the longer retina detach the harder it is to glue back to the wall?

Appreciate for your kind time.
No not really. the critical thing about RD is whether the macula is "off" or "on"  The macula is the reading part of the eye. If it is detached the vision often does not recover fully even if reattached. So the primary reason for trying to fix RD in a hurry is to prevent the macula from being "off" (detached)l
Thanks again for your reply

Since my macula is still good proctected by the laser stitches. is it beneficial to reattached back the flat RD?  Doctor B told me that the laser stitches can come off anytime. And how strong is this laser stitches glueing the retina?

That question can not be answered without looking into your eye and knowing your medical history. Moreover even retina experts often disagree about whether treatment is needed or not.
Thank you again for your time. it help me alot. God bless to you sir.
Happy to help and grateful to be appreciated.
