Focusing problems

I am a 22 year old female and have been having extreme eye fatigue. Today I was writing an exam, when I switched from staring at the paper infront of me to looking at the clock across the room, I could barely see anything. It took me maybe 2 minutes for my eyes to accomodate. I didn't have any problems focusing back on my paper. Only problems trying to go from close to far. My eye muscles are feeling really tired and I feel like my periphery vision is decreasing. I'm quite worried.

You symptoms are compatible with latent hyperopia (farsightedness).

See an Eye MD.  BEFORE THEY DILATE YOUR EYES. Tell them you were told by an ophthalmologist that you might have latent hyperopia and to do a "push plus pre-cycloplegic fogging refraction"  then after your eyes are dilated and the focusing muscle fully relaxed you need A POST CYCLOPLEGIC REFRACTION.

Then eye MD can then review the findings and tell you if you need reading glasses.
