chalazion

Hello, I've had a chalazion on my upper eyelid for a few months now... It had gotten pretty big but to be honest its pretty invisible at this point. It doesn't really bother me anymore, but I have noticed it kind of changed how my eyelid looks? It still looks a little puffier than my normal eye, although I know that nobody notices that. But I was wondering how long this tends to last? It has definitely gotten better, but for a while I've noticed there's no progress and it hasn't completely gone away. Is this something I should head back to the doctor for them to check out or should I just wait it out?

If it is that small it is highly unlikely that your ophthalmologist eye MD would do surgery or inject steroids into it.  What you can do is get an over the counter eyelid clearner to remove the oil that blocks up the oil glands and causes chalazia. If you have the time warm compresses. The most widely available lid cleaner is OcuSoft,  That is important because each eyelid has many oil glands and people with oil lids often have recurrent chalazia on different lids or elsewhere on same lid.
