Gas bubble in eye seems to be shrinking quickly?

11 days ago I had surgery for a macular hole including membrane peeling and vitrectomy.  As I was not sure if I could maintain face down positioning due to neck issues, the surgeon placed a large, longer acting C3F8 gas bubble in my eye.  It seems to me that this "longer acting" gas bubble is dissipating quickly as it is already at the halfway point in my eye instead of in the upper quadrant.  My vision is very blurry above the bubble but seems to be very slowly getting clearer in the past 2 days.  If this is a longer acting gas bubble why does it seem to be reducing in size so quickly?  Or is everyone different with regards to how quickly the gas bubble dissipates?

I don't have any experience with C3F8 only SF6.  You would need to ask your surgeon. Good luck.
