"Ghostly" vision

Hello. I am 21 and my work is based around PC and coding. I am noticing something like "ghosts" in my vision, which is worse at night. I don't have blurry vision and I don't think that I have double vision because I see everyday objects very clear, but when I look at the tv for example, I can see the screen clear and a little bit of its dim "ghost" above the edge of the screen. Also when I read white text on dark background I see the dim "ghosts" of the letters just above them. I see the real letters clear though. Also if I bring my fingertip slightly above my eye, the "ghosts" dissapear.
Any hint considering my issue would be very helpful.

This is a symptom mentioned often in posts. Most commonly it is due to: needing glasses (myopia, astigmatism, hyperopia) or glasses incorrect or poorly fitted, contact lens problem (spectacle blur), less commonly in your age group it can be due to eye disease of the cornea, eyelids, lens or macula. start by seeing an eye MD ophthalmologist for an exam. It's not due to computer.

To be honest, at first I was as afraid of something in my brain (self diagnosis on the internet :) ). Thanks doctor, that really helped. I'm going to ophthalmologist next week. And staying away from cyber-diagnosing symptoms.
Have a good day.
And a better day to you.
I am also experiencing this for 2 months now, I am 13 yrs old and I haven't got to the optinologist yet... what should I do?
Tell your parents and make an appointment with an "ophthalmologist"  and Eye MD. Many causes, most not serious. I note you posted elsewhere about surgery its not likely at all that you need surgery.
