Eye redness in both eyes

Both eyes are always red & I guess now for the last couple of months it feels like theres something in my left eye only. It feels like an eyelash but theres nothing in my eye. I've also been having this redness in my eye for the last two yrs or so. I have to use clear eyes like alomost everyday.

feels like something in my left eye sometimes it feels like a eyelash and sometimes it feels like cold but not seeing anything there what could it be
