A possible retinal detachment path?

I am concentrating on studying the cause of retinal degenerations, retinal detachment and possible outcome of laser photocoagulation because of an improper laser treatment these days.

There are several articles I thought, combined together, may give a possible path leading to retinal detachment:
1. intra-retinal degeneration, may appear in the peripheral retinal areas, especially in people with longer axis. Some researches point out the White-Without-Pressure lesion may be a precursor to other lesions given that it is more common in rather young people and less common in older people.
2. Strong vitreous adherence and increased vitreous traction with aging, lead to Viteo-retinal degenerations, such as lattice degeneration and snail degeneration. (some researches point out that the snail degeneration may be the early-stage of lattice degeneration).
3. Strong PVD, vitreous tractions, or other bad things lead to retinal tears or breaks.
4. Then, RD may happen if not diagnosed or treat properly.
