Are you talking about the eye, or somewhere else in the body?

In my eye
I cannot comment specifically to your case since recurrent herpes simplex virus (HSV)  in the eye is very complicatied as the HSV virus can just attack the surface of the cornea, get into the cornea deeper laywer in in the eye's interior.  There are two approved eye drops for HSV, you might ask your ophthalmologist about that. Ideally you are under the care of an Eye MD ophthalmologist that is fellowship trained and specializes in cornea diseases.
Thank you I will check that, my consultant is more eyelid specialist and said she can manage it but I can get her to refer me.
Good idea and good luck
