We do not give specific post operative advise on activity, medication or try and second guess your surgeon. You will need your surgeon to answer those questions.

Two weeks ago I had a trabekulectomy .  I am taking Pred Forte 6 times a day.  The first day post op, I took 4 doses of homotropine and 2 doses the next day.  My eye is extemely light sensitive and my lid id slightly ptosic.  Will these things clear up after I discontinue the Pred Forte?  And is 4 weeks at this dose of Pred Forte dangerous?
Thank you, Diana100

Each year there are scores of eyes that are blinded or seriously damaged by airsoft and airsoft-like guns. You need to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist as soon as possible. You may have bleeding in the eye, damaged cornea, or even a retinal detachment.

Find an Eye MD near you at www.aao.org and call the answering service now. You may be able to see an ophthalmologist when they make hospital rounds on thanksgiving.

And if you must use air soft guns WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES.
