How much does Retinal hole treatment cost?

Hi, I'm 23 years old and have had normal eye exams for a long time. However, my doctor dilated my pupils at my latest exam and she discovered a retinal hole in my left eye. She mentioned that I need laser treatment done to seal this hole. I don't have any sort of insurance. The hospital she referred me has given me a quote of $250+ just for the consultation. Around how much can this actual treatment cost me without insurance? Thanks.

whatever the cost...take care of your eye as soon as possible. Laser will prevent possible future surgery...i wish someone had told me.

I cannot even begin to estimate since we don't know what treatment you need or where you live. The hospital should be able to tell you after the consultation but not likely before.
