How often should i get my Eye Test Done?

I am a bit concerned about how often I should get my eyes tested, I already went this year and they said my eyes were fine, I still feel a bit of dryness and they hurt when  I stare the computer for long hours . I have been doing some research and I found that vision express website (www.visionexpress.com) recommends that eye test should be done at least every two years or more frequently if recommended by your Optician.  Please if someone can give me some advice I would appreciated.

First be sure you see an ophthalmologist Eye MD. Second since you have symptoms of dry eyes you should go back not for a "complete eye exam with refraction" but for a medical evaluation for treatment of your dry eyes. Use the search feature to read about dry eyes.

Most people over 40 need a yearly exam.
