Flashes

Hello, and sorry if my english not so good.
I'm 16 years old, I have glasses (-1) in each eye.
I'm having a prblem of millions of dots in my vision that I can see mostly in the dark or in the sky as tiny glowing dots
(they no moving with my vision when I look around, I have 2-3 floaters that move with my vision but the glowing dots are my problem)
I had Periods that came and left of flashes, mostly in the evning.
Recently the flashes back realy badly, I can see a flash light, after blinking, somtimes just when I turn my head quiqly to another side, and if I'm doing nothing and I'm in a light room, I feel like the Lamp Dimmed and turned on again.
That realy scary and I'm afraid it will cause me to lose my sight (Heaven forbid).
I already did A doctor's appointment but  but until than thers is a lot of time... I dont really want to go to hospital or somthing....
What should I do? Does it dangerous? Does it dangerous to put Contact lenses?
Thanking you in advance,

Thanks  for your answer,
Does it normal, that in my young age, to suffer from all these annoying Visual disturbances?
Becouse I suffer from that a realy long time, like 3 years now - tiny dots .. Flicker vision,  I can describe it like snow effect on an old television that on my vision but weaker.
(try to type "tv snow" in google pictures to try undestand what i mean)
more describe:
When it is realy dark (full darkness) its seems normal to see dots so i think I can see those dots in the day too (but weaker) in some way

I know that it is impossible to help me through here, just want to know if you ever hear about problems like that.

You age and glasses correction of -1 would not suggest a serious problem.  The first problem is probably normal.  Discuss these problems with the doctor on your visit.
