I'm really concerned

I've been having issues with my left eye for the past couple of weeks, and went to the eye dr. he told me that i had cloudiness of my cornea, and immediately sent me to a corneal specialist. He said it appeared to be interstatial keratitis, and wanted to send me to get tons of tests done, I'm self paying since I was laid off from work last summer so I can't afford tons of medical tests. When I woke up this morning I noticed that my front tooth hurt, as well as tightness in my face. I'm wondering if a sinus infection could cause this issue with my eye? I'm just worried and have no idea what to do!

well i have found out that all tests came back neg. with the exception of the epstein barr virus..so apparently, thats it. Is there any other treatments needed or what, the eye specialist didn't really explain that to me.

I cannot tell when or if your vision will clean up. There may be no chance at all for you to have gotten syphlis but that is the most common cause. You can get syphlis from your parents.

Sinus would have no effect at all and is coincidental.

i've had the tests now...and rescheduled my exam with the eye dr untill tuesday since some of the results wouldn't be back by tomorrow. I really have no idea how i'd have gotten syphlis, and can't imagine that being the cause. I am worried though and don't know what else I should look for. The Dr. said that the eye drops he prescribed would clear the infection in my eye, but he wanted the tests done to find out what caused it...when should I start to see improvement in the eye?

Interstitial keratitis can be caused by some very serious underlying disease the most common and serious is syphlis. You need the tests.
