Is this a sign of PCO?

I had my cataract surgery 6 weeks ago.  I didn't experience any glare post op.  However, 6 weeks later now, i seem to experience some glare.  My doctor had said earlier i am very likely to get PCO later. Is this a sign it is coming? Thanks.

I will only get to see my doctor next wed. If this is not PCO, what might be causing this glare.  I am now finding it hard to read my ipad and watch TV compared to just a few days back.  I am also reading up more on PCO and it does not seem to develop so fast. I am getting really nervous about this.

"3D" vision is referred to as "stereopsis" or "depth perception"   The two most common causes are 1. the eyes are not pointed at the same object. This could be the case with you if you have a vertical trophia. That means the eyes are not straight. You might have a vertical 'phoria' which means the eye is straight much or all the time unless fusion is disrupted by covering one eye.  The other common cause is poor vision in one eye either congential (amblyopia) or acquired (cataract or macular degeneration).

Also You should be able to call your surgeons office, talk to his tech or nurse and get your questions answered that way. We field all questions every day from all out patients. Surgeons should not be "unaccessable"    PCO can be present at the time of surgery or develop anytime afterward. The younger a person the fast PCO tends to develop.
Thanks, Dr Hagan.  I wish my doctor is as communicatable as you.
You are welcome. Best of luck

On a separate but mot sure if related note.  Prior to experiencing this glare, i was referred to a squint specialist because of my vertical tropia. As part of her assessment, an optometrist checked my 3D vision. I was shown some pictures while waering a 3D glass to see if any object stood out.  They all looked the same to me.  Was also shown a picture and asked if i saw a butterfly, I couldn't see it. She said my 3D vision is very poor. However, the squint specialist didn't mention this during the consultation and i also forgot to raise this. Now what is the significance of this poor 3D vision? Has this to do with the glare I am experiencing now and PCO?

I can't answer your question since it involves looking into the eye. Discuss with your surgeon. Squint not a common cause of glare.
Thanks Dr Hagan.  What is the significance of poor 3D vision and what might have caused it.  In the past, i was able to enjoy 3D movies so I don't think i had poor 3D vision previously.
