LASIK for myopic eyes
I am due to have LASIK next month. I am currently -8.0 on right eye and -8.75 on the left eye. What are my chances of success?

You should also consider the risks vs. benefit as with your degree of myopia, it is a more serious issue. My own personal feeling is that it is far too dangerous. If you have any signs of fundus changes, no matter how slight, you should forget about it. The results will probably not be optimal anyway.
