I've had 3 failed keratoplasties over a period of about 55 years (I'm 70 now). I'm seeing a ophthalmologist at Duke and am contemplating a Boston Keratoprosthesis. Has anyone had experience with this. How comfortable are you after the surgery and months later. I know vision varies from person to person depending on the health of the eye. Just want to hear from others who have had this surrgery. Thanks!
