It has been a little over a year since cataract surgery on my left eye. The final result was 20/70 and I found I have astigmatism in that eye. I am now wearing a toric contact lens which brings my vision up to 20/30 in the left eye. Because it has been a year since my surgery, would it be possible to have limbal relaxing incisions in that eye with better results than I'm now getting? I have not had the right eye operated on and I wear a monovision contact in that eye for reading labels, price tags, and some newspaper reading in very bright light.
I want to thank the doctors and JodieJ for letting me know that the astigmatism is in the left eye and not the right eye as I was told by the doctor I went to for a second opinion. She was suggesting a toric IOL for the right eye, which would have cost extra.
