Are there surgery options for -30 D?

Hi all! I am a 28 year old female with degenerative myopia(-25.75, -30). I'm looking for others like me as well as seeking advice about surgical options to correct such high prescription. Has anyone with -30 had any particular surgeries that helped? I currently wear soft contacts with a cane as back up (I can no longer wear glasses). I have floaters and occasional flashes and ripples but no detachments and no md. If anyone can relate or has any advice, please let me know.

Had a topography done and no keratoconus or other corneal issues. I guess I'm just really lucky outside of having a -30 lol

Not if a cornea topography was done.

Thanks for your reply! I recently had my corneas examined for an unrelated issue and they were deemed healthy. Is there any way they would have missed that?

Yes if a corneal topography test was not done and if the "eye doctor" was not an Eye MD ophthalmologist

Very few eyes can be long enough to need -30 and its highly likely you have a corneal disease perhaps K conus. Cataract surgery would involve a high risk of retinal detachment. The IOL power would have to be a minus or zero. Just removing your lens would make you about 18-24 diopters less myopic.
