Lens surgery?

I had my cataract taken out 2 years ago(from a pencil injury in the eye)
I was 13 now im 15.
Currently, i have no lens in my eye(i am wearing contact lens)
The doctor says i have a membrane forming in the eye and the best way to deal with this is to insert a lens first.
Then remove the membrane with laser surgery

What are your thought about this and what are the risks
I am really overwhelmed  by these statements

That has nothing to do with the contacts. The membrane that is clouding is in the eye. Ask your surgeon to review this again for you and your parents.

Only an exam can tell you the best course of action. Get a second opinion from another eye surgeon MD ophthalmologist. If they agree then a seconday IOL insertion followed by a yag capsulotomy is not a bad way to go. Otherwise its contacts all your life.
