Narrow Angle Glaucoma

My wife recently suffered sharp pain in right eye at night. On sitting up, it gradually reduced. An eye specialist said that it could be due to a vacuole burst but that she has cortical cataract developing in both eyes. A second specialist believes that her problem is primarily due to increased intra-occular pressure caused by poor drainage of the fluid. In fact he was not even willing to dilate her eyes as he feared an attack of glaucoma due to this elevated pressure. We are now confused. How should this issue be addressed? Thanks.

This can be treated with a laser PI.  See an ophthalmologist.   The first doctor's explanation does not make sense.
