Fixing Cross Eyes at the Age of 17

I was born cross eyed and had to have surgery as a baby to fix it. In October I will be going to get my left eye fixed, because it has begun crossing again. My question is, will I be risking going blind or seeing double when/if I get this surgery?

There is very risk of going blind.  The risk of double depends on the type of strabismus you have now.
