Cataract Surgery Side Affect

I had cataract removal surgery in my left eye yesterday.  Today, the pupil is very unresponsive.  It remains constricted even in low light.  Is this a result of the medications I take - Vigamox, Nevanac and Pred Forte?  If not, will it correct itself?

Had my one-week follow-up doctor visit two days ago.  Everything is great and I can see 20/20 out of the eye.  My surgeon said he did administer a medicine to constrict the pupil and it takes time to wear off.  I've scheduled the surgery for the right on Dec 8th.  I'm looking forward to it.. Thank you Dr. Hagan for your input.

you're welcome. The inaccessibility of the surgeon is disturbing.

No, it's still the same.  It's been 48 hrs so hopefully it will improve tomorrow.  I looked up miostat on the internet and I'm sure my surgeon administered that.  I have my one week appointment next Thursday and I'll ask him then.  My surgeon is part of the Loma Linda University in Southern California and getting a hold of any doctor is almost impossible.  I'm sure it will improve by then.  I'll let you know if it improves.  Thanks again.

You need to ask the surgeon. Sometimes a medication like "miostat" is put in the eye to constrict the pupil and keep the IOL from rubbing the cornea.
