Nightime visions

My sister has been complaining of seeing bugs and squirmy things at night when the lights are out, both on her bed, and on the walls. She told her doctor about it, but he said he had never heard about it.  Could it be a problem with her eyes? She does take blood pressure meds, could it be caused by them?

She does need to see a ophthalmologist Eye MD. Find one at www.aao.org or ask her GP to refer her.

I am a community leader here, not a doctor. I am also an experienced eye patient. Welcome to our community.

Does she see an eye MD or an optometrist? I see all kinds of things, including the form of bugs and squirmy things. but I have PVD, vitreous syneresis.

My eyes have also been lasered.

Your sister could see these forms for different reasons. I would make sure she gets an exam by an eye MD, an Ophahalmologist. Find one at www.aao.org.

The doctor will review this posting and answer your question.
