Pain behind eye

I was wondering if you could give me an idea of what is happening with my eyes.  I have been having dull pain behind both eyes for about 5 days, and the pain increases significantly in my left eye when I look suddenly to the left or right.    The pain also increases when I gently press on the eye with the lid closed.  My vision seems unaffected.  My pupils are equal and reactive to light.  I have sinus/ allergy problems for which I take Zyrtec and this is no worse than usual (especially for South Louisiana in the spring).  Can this just be eye strain or is this something I should go to the dr. for?  Thank you for your time.

No diagnosis is possible with your description. HOWEVER those are symtpoms that need to be checked by an eye MD with a full comprehensive medical eye exam. Find one at www.aao.org
