Possible pre glaucoma?

Is it safe to trust doctor when they tell you to come back in one year. They saw narrow angles in both eyes but my optic nerve is all good and pressures are low. I wear reading glasses and lately field of vision is getting increased where I need to put glasses on to see food or aisles in grocery store etc. can I wait the year. I know about laser treatment but I am reading a lot about people who say eyesight is worse after? What do you think about all of this?

If your IOP is low and your optic nerve looks healthy, then a return visit in one year sounds reasonable and normal.  Your increased need for reading glasses likely has nothing to do with your risk for glaucoma and is probably just your presbyopia developing as you age.

If you are truly uncomfortable with a one year followup visit, ask about 6 months instead, and of course, sooner if you notice any change or new symptoms.  Try not to worry too much.
