by air I mean the stuff you are breathing. It's sometimes injected in the eye to hold the retina in place. Discuss this with your surgeon

I have no any kind of retinal surgery yet, so I was wondering if riding on an airplane would worsen my retinal hemorrhage condition. Also, what do you mean by air?

It could if you have air or gas in your eye. Ask your surgeon.
