Red bump on my waterline! Pls help me

So basically Saturday night I had my friends come over to have a sleepover but one of my friends had this red bump on her waterline. We didn’t think nothing of it so they slept on the sofa and I slept in my room mind you my room is across the house, so like the sofa is by my room kind of but anyways we went to sleep, and when I woke up, I had the same thing that one of my friends had, which is a red bump on my waterline it, it hurts to blink and even close my eyes. Does anybody know what this is or how to cure it?

If by waterline you mean the upper edge of the lower lid it would not have been caused by your friend's problem. An infection, even a strong bacteria usually takes 24-48 hrs to begin the infection, more likely you have a common problem a chalazion, or small stye or meibomeian abscess

What do you mean by 'waterline"?
