Use the search feature and archives to read the many posts about patients that have had ERM stripping. The surgery is so unique and individualistic it is not possible to generalize. It will probably take 4-6 months to know for sure but by 8 weeks about 75% of the healing should take place. Important to know while the surgery often makes much better it usually does not make vision normal. Also if you have your natural lens the surgery almost always causes a cataract to develop and grow.

It should get better, albeit slowly it seems at times. It's been a year and half since I had a ERM procedure and mine took about a year to improve significantly.
