I had detachment of retina and cataract in the right eye and had surgery for both on the same day.
Silicon gel was put in.
Now the retina has partly re-detached, so another surgery is contemplated.
When I went for an opinion on this, the Doctor tried to do an OTC scan.
It was a bit tedious and didn't work.
Later another Doctor said that it should not have been tried at all, because an OTC scan does not work on an eye which has silicon gel in it. Is that correct? Thank you.
