Has anyone had problems with the Cryslalens implant after cataract surgery?

I had cataract surgery on left eye two weeks ago and I had the Crystalens implanted.  I have had fluttering and twitching movement in the left side of my eye ever since whenever light hits it.  It's difficult to read and do the computer with this constant movement in the left side of the eye.  The Ophthalmologist says just wait and it should go away, but I've read some blogs on the Internet where people experienced it and it didn't go away. Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience and what they did about it.

The type of IOL is not related to eyelid twitching or fluttering and that problem, called myokymia, occurs commonly in people that have not had surgery. I see if every week. It is usually self limited and does go away.  Another type of problem is called blepharospasm but it also is different and not related to cataract surgery.

Thank you for your prompt answer however, it is not my eyelid that is twitching, it is my vision fluttering in the eye itself which is reacting to light hitting my eye.  Doesn't happen when I wear sunglasses, but I can't wear sunglasses all the time.
That type of problem is not unusual and normally goes away in a variable amount of time weeks to months. It can occur with any type of IOL. My wife had cataract/IOL surgery this year and had the similar problem.   As long as your surgeon knows about it and your eye exam is normal waiting is generally all that is necessary.
I am three months post cataract surgery and also experiencing this eyeball twitching -- it is NOT the eyelid.  Although it is extremely annoying, I am glad it is not causing me pain.  When I had my other eye done 5 years ago (at 57) I did not have this issue.  It started the day I came home from the procedure this time so I know it is a result of the surgery.  The eye dr just brushes it off, so I am hoping it's not the sign of a more serious issue to come.  It's a shame the drs do not take our  concerns seriously though.
