Semi-transparent filam before the eye

I am having AMD(Dry). I am taking vitamins as suggested MD. A semitransparent screen appears before my affect eye and clarity is blurred or one or two days. This happens once or twice in a month.Otherwise it is clear and i can read with magnifying glass. Is this usual with AMD?
Few times I have see symatrecal desgn on walls showing dots or letters(words) which goes away  agtre a wink or so.
Thirdly I see some times  dim flashes of litht with my affected eyt.Are the above symptoms the part of Dry AMd?
The other eye is blurred. it qas operated for Glucoma(15 years bdfor) and cataract extraction(done two years ago)Eye reopende as stitches did not heal. This was done after 10 days of operation. So this eye is comptely useless fpr teadomg/
I concerned about the eye with AMD. Are the above symptom emanate from dry AMD? Till date no problem with AMSLER Chart.I will be happy to know about the progression of the dieas or prognosis/ thanks/

I did discuss this episodic blurr with my opthalmologist. I also asked whether it can be because of  lessor  therapy (lesor iridotomy) and which has give me severe pain for few days. Lasor therapy was done by another doctor.
lessor therapy was done as preventive measure againt glucoma, as i was prone to glucoma.(other eye was operated for glucoma 15 yrs before.
however I shall use the search feature to delve further into this subject.
In case if this symptom is related to ineffective lessor therapy, which therapy can be folowed? After this Laser Iridotomy presipitated pain the surgeon prescribed Pillocarpin one drop a day for life time ot till operation is done.I used pillocarpin for one and half year and  stopped as the other docte suggested that it is not necessary.
Now I have to find out If iridotomy is the reasn for thid AMD type symptom.
I am indeed thankful to you for giving me impartial advice.
here in India i have consulted 4 doctors and i could not get satisfactory reply.I shall inform you the result of search I intend to do.
.I regularly go for check up intra-ocuular pressure every three months and do Amsler Grid test. Thanks

First use the search feature to read the many discussion of ARMD.

Your symptoms of episodic blur is not typical of ARMD.

You will need to discuss this with your Eye MD ophthalmologist.

Be sure you are taking AREDS supplements with lutein (example PreserVision with Lutein 2/day with a multivitamin.
