Streaks in vision 8 months after PRK

I had PRK 8 months ago am seeing 20/15. I am 48 male no dry eye history before. Eyes are dry now but seem to be on the mend. When I look a TV, the bright parts of the screen streak down off the bottom of the screen. Also when I look a ceiling lights the light streaks down, also if I look out a window from inside of looking at anything bright. If I put a tiny upward pressure on the egde of my upper lid away from the eye it goes away. My surgeon says it is because the tear film has not established itself and the lid is putting pressure on a roughend eye surface. Does this sound correct or could it be something else? The streaks are so distracting. Thanks.

Hi keymaker. I too have those symptoms after having done LASIK surgery. Exactly like what you explained. But when I open my eyes wide, the streaks seem to disappear. Have you found a solution yet?

I guess it could be correct another opinion is that you have some residual astigmatism that pushing on the eye corrects.
