Stuck Contact removed; Vision damaged.

I have been wearing contacts for 2 years and many times they have been stuck  in my eye, I have always removed them shortly after and never had a problem. I wear Night and Day, so I sleep in my contacts. This morning my right contact was stuck in the corner of my eye, causing pain. About 15 minutes later I removed it, and then realized the vision in my right eye was significantly worse than my left. It is slightly better when I wear my glasses, but is still very poor. I still feel pain in my right eye even though my contact has been removed. Have I permanently damaged the vision in my right eye? What should I do? I am currently on vacation in Honduras, so I would prefer not to go to a doctor.

No way to tell. It could be minor overwear and minor swelling in which case it should be better tomorrow, or it could be severe swelling, corneal abrasion, even infection.

Does this mean that my vision will get better? If so, do you know approximately how long it would take? Thank you for your help.

No way to answer your question without an exam. Likely in some way you've damaged the cornea. If its small it may heal by itself. LEAVE THE CONTACTS OUT FOR THE DURATION OF THE TRIP. If it fails to clear and the pain increase you have no choice but to seek out a local ophthalmoloigst.

Now the pain is not nearly as bad, but the vision in my right eye is still terrible even with my glasses on.
