Would nerve damage affect my eye seeing flashes, floaters and pain in my eye?

I got hit by a branch in my chest, it affected my nerves' I'm seeing a dr for the nerve damage. Soon after I started getting numb, the tingling and pain, I started seeing flashes,  floaters and pain in my eye, So was wondering if it is because of the nerve damage.

You do need to see an ophthalmologist, Eye MD.  The nerves of the chest are not involved in vision.
