Short sight in One eye
Hi, I am just 20 yrs old male, the thing is I've got short sight in my right eye since my childhood. And I used to wear spectacles(power -4.25right, left normal), then I stopped to use my specks. The problem is now I can continually see some dark things (shape-like worms) all the time, I am really afraid please help me
Thanks Sir, I think this one eye problem is a genetic problem (It may be a coincidence), because my cousin and my youngest sister have this problem too, And one more thing sir these dark shapes are floating.
PS- I went to an ophthalmologist last Wednesday in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He told me to continue wear my specks and not to worry about these floating things, he also checked my eye pressure and told me it's normal. But he also told me that It's impossible get my full eyesight back because nearly 60% of my right eye's power was lost

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
This is probably a new problem (vitreous detachment?). Please see an ophthalmologist.
