please help!inborn cataract;(

I have an inborn cataract,I'm 21 now,on my early age this isn't much worse but now it is complicated for me..I'm sufferring headache mostly everyday esp.when seeing even low radation..I cant see clearly even people who was far of me unless that one will come near to me..I had an eye check up last year..and the my dr.said that I need to undergo surgical..its lens implants..I had already fix my mind to undergo on that but my parents dissagree because they said it isn't good for me for having it they think my eye will be worse after surgery like they knw people who just undergo and had regret after it..I'm so confuse now what will I do..as I knw if I wouldn't undergo surgical then maybe ill be blind soon;(...

Please help..will I go for it??even there's dissagree?..and if ill do then will it be safe for me?ill be no longer suffer this headache??and would clearly see everything near and far objects??

I have gone in one dr.is it good to go many to get what's the best to do??

You can ask the to do retinal function tests, such as RAM.  This a device gives a rough estimate of the visual potential without the cataract.

Thank you so much for you recommendation..well,the last time..they told me that .yes..there's an improvement after it...but it don't have assurance..what if after..ill be like others who'd undergo surgery and become worse..and they will just tell its cause of diabetes and they can no longer help again.

The main question is how much vision will you recover.  This depends on how bad the cataract was at birth.  I would recommend surgery if there is a possibility of improvement.  You could also consider a second opinion.
